McBee Town Council Special Election
The Municipal Election Commission of the Town of McBee announces the special election for the Town of McBee to be held on Tuesday, May 16, 2023.
The following office shall be included in this election:
Council Member for term ending on December 8, 2026.
Candidate filing will be open at noon on Monday, March 6, 2023, and will remain open during regular business hours (8:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.) until noon on Friday, March 17, 2023.
Citizens desiring to be candidates for office must file a statement of intention of candidacy with the Town Financial Clerk, McBee Town Hall, 38 W. Juniper Ave., McBee, South Carolina. No statement of candidacy will be accepted after noon, Friday, March 17, 2023.
The filing fee for the office of council is $25.00.
