Mayor John Campolong

Mayor John Campolong was sworn into office as Mayor of the Town of McBee in October 2008. Currently serving his second term, Mayor Campolong continues to serve the citizens of McBee through ensuring that the community receives full benefit from his office. Mayor Campolong, along with the Council, have received State and Federal grants for the construction of the McBee Recreation Complex, which will upon completion, have four baseball fields, a concession stand, and other recreation fields. A grant provided the funding for the construction of a 1.1 mile walking trail within the McBee Recreation Complex . Grants enabled the Town to receive new sidewalks, a road addition, Town Hall renovation, two new police cars, funding for a Police Officer, and equipment for the Police Department are just a few of the projects that have been completed under the leadership of Mayor Campolong and this Administration.

Form of Government

The Town of McBee operates under the "Council" form of local government. The following are a listing of the Mayor and Town Council. The Town Council meets the first Tuesday of each month at 5:45 p.m. at the Town Hall located at 38 W. Juniper Street. Work sessions and special meetings are always posted in advance of the meeting. Check back often to view announcements of any upcoming special meetings.
