In the interest of public safety and to help decrease the spread of Covid-19 (Coronavirus), the Town of McBee will be moving to modified operations effective March 18, 2020 until further notice.
We will reevaluate these changes as more information is available.
A detailed outline of modifications will be listed below.
Considering recommendations made by the CDC and SC DHEC, access to the Town’s Public Facilities will be restricted and closed to the public.
The Town of McBee will make the following modifications for business operations:
> Town Hall will be closed to the public.
Water Bills may be paid:
> Over the Phone: 843.335.8474
> By drop box located in the alcove at Town Hall, 38 W. Juniper Ave, checks or money order only.
> By Mail: P.O. Drawer 248, McBee, SC 29101, checks or money order only.
> Any additional business with the Town Hall may be taken care of by calling 843.335.8474 or emailing email@example.com.
> Business licenses may be obtained by completing an application – you may download the application from the Town’s website https://www.townofmcbeesc.com/business/business_license.php
Call the Town Clerk to complete payment processing at 843.335.8474
> Garbage collection will remain on schedule.
> Yard debris will remain on schedule.
> Utility calls/work will not be affected.
McBee Police Department
> The Police Department lobby will be closed to the public.
> Non-emergency calls and police reports will be completed over the phone by calling 843.335.6613 to minimize contact.
Parks and Recreation Department
> All scheduled practices have been cancelled.
> Recreation Complex will be open for passive recreation such as walking or jogging.
> Municipal Court has been cancelled until further notice.
> Traffic tickets may be paid online at https://www.paythatticket.com/payment/search
