Municipal Court
Motor vehicle and traffic violations, criminal misdemeanors and municipal ordinance violations, established by the Town's Code of Ordinances and committed within the McBee Town limits, are processed by the McBee Municipal Court.
Judge Barbara Lisenby presides over the Court, which is held the second Thursday of each month beginning at 2:30 PM. Court is held at the McBee Town Hall, 38 W. Juniper Ave., McBee, SC 29101
Instructions for Paying Fines
To plead "Not Guilty" or take a case to trial, a defendant must appear in person on the assigned court date and time shown on the citation.
If a defendant wishes to enter a plea of "guilty", certain charges may be paid without appearing in court. To obtain the amount of your fine and other information regarding a citation, a defendant may contact the McBee Police Department at 843-335-6613. Please wait 48 hours after receiving a citation before calling for information.
Once the amount of the fine has been established, it may be paid in person, by mail, by phone or online, no later than the court date shown on the citation.
Credit/Debit cards are accepted with a convenience fee added. No personal checks are accepted.
